Hudson Valley Man Pleads Guilty to Tossing Semen at People
By a stroke of very bad luck, three people were victimized by a real jerk. A local man has pled guilty to splattering them with semen.
Christopher Hinds from Port Jervis was arrested in July after three incidents at the Campbell Plaza on Dolson Avenue in Middletown. The victims say Hinds approached them near the Shop Rite supermarket and threw a "foul-smelling liquid" on them. The liquid was stored in a hand sanitizer bottle, but police say it was, in fact, Hinds' own semen.
This story rubbed our listeners the wrong way, with reactions ranging from outrage to utter disgust. Well now the story has finally climaxed, with Hinds deciding to plead guilty in Orange County Court on Tuesday to misdemeanors. The Times Herald Record reports that Hinds pled to third-degree sexual abuse and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Hinds will have some time on his hands as he waits to find out how stiff the penalty will be. The Port Jervis man's sentencing is scheduled for December 17. Until then he's being held in Orange County Jail on $100,000 bond.
