Hudson Valley Teen Sexually Abused 3 Children
A Hudson Valley teen admitted he sexually abused three children.
On Friday in Orange County Court, 18-year-old Anthony Martinez of Highland Falls pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual abuse.
Martinez confessed he sexually touched three different children, all under the age of 11.
“I thank the New York State Police for their investigation on this difficult case,” Orange Couty District Attorney David Hoovler said in a press release. “Children are the most vulnerable and innocent of victims. This disposition ensures that these children will be spared the ordeal of having to testify in open court. My office will continue to seek severe state prison sentences when children are victimized.”
As part of a plea deal, prosecutors said on the record they will recommend a 15-year prison sentence. Martinez is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
