On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Justin Timberlake suddenly canceled his New York City concert for that night.

Rolling Stone reports that Justin Timberlake canceled his Madison Square Garden show in New York City the day of just hours before his performance. The October 24th show was part of his Man Of The Woods Tour for his most recent studio album. The singer cited 'severely bruised vocal cords' as the reason for the cancellation.

Timberlake posted on Instagram announcing the cancellation. He wrote "Hey guys, I’m sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor’s orders. My vocal cords are severely bruised. I’m gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31. Again, I’m so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon. Love, J"

So if you were one of the many disappointed local fans last night who had purchased tickets to see JT at the Garden, all you have to do is hold onto your tickets for the newly rescheduled show.

Timberlake rescheduled the show for Thursday, January 31 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
