The public will have a chance to meet and hear from a number of candidates that are running for New York’s 19th Congressional District seat.  According to the Daily Freeman, the activist group Resisterhood: New Paltz will host a “Women Centered Forum,” with these candidates.  The forum is scheduled for Sunday May 6, from 4pm to 7pm in Room 100 of the SUNY New Paltz Lecture Center.

The 19th Congressional Seat is currently held by John Faso, who has no confirmed he will be attending the forum.  Jeffery Beals and David Clegg both Democrats from Woodstock have confirmed.  Also, Antonio Delgado of Rhinebeck along with Gareth Rhodes of Kerhonkson.  In addition, Brian Flynn of Elka Park, Patrick Ryan of Gardiner, Erin Collier of Cooperstown and Steve Greenfield of New Paltz.  Finally, Diane Neal of Hurly and Lusia Parker of Callicoon will be attending.  All of them are running for the seat.  Candidates will be answering questions from the public and the forum is free and open to the public.
