A man is accused of stealing over $100,000 from a Hudson Valley camp.

On Monday, New York State Police from Brewster arrested 54-year-old David Eldredge of Wisconsin for grand larceny, a felony.

In July 2017, police began an investigation into the possible embezzlement of funds from the Children’s Bible Fellowship in Carmel.

An investigation revealed Eldredge stole over $100,000 from the Children’s Bible Fellowship while he served as the religious organization's Chief Financial Officer, over a 12-year period, police say.

Eldridge is accused of redirecting the funds to pay for personal expenses.

Additional charges are possible as the investigation continues, officials say.

Eldredge was arraigned before the town of Carmel Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear on Feb. 26.
