The 10th annual Ulster County Young Adult Job Fair will be held on Thursday, April 5, from 11am to 3:30pm at the Andy Murphy Midtown Center in Kingston. The job fair will be open to young adults, ages 16 to 24 and gives them a chance to interface with more than 40 businesses.

Ulster County Executive Mike Hein says, “our young adult Job Fair is a great opportunity for our young people to find work right here in Ulster County. There will be hiring managers with real job openings at this event. This is a great opportunity for any young person who is looking for a job, whether they are seeking a full-time, part-time or summer position.” The 40 businesses come from every corner of the county and are promoting jobs in healthcare, banking, recreation, retail and manufacturing.

Lisa Berger, Director of Ulster County’s Office of Employment and Training and Workforce Development Board said, “we have hiring managers looking for applicants that they can grow into long-term employees, therefore job seekers should have résumés with them and be dressed for an interview.” That means, clean, neat and professional clothes are preferred. There will also be a place to print out your resume, if you email to yourself or bring it on a USB drive.
