BRING ON THE HEAT, seriously though! Tis the season to open those pools and get the grills cooking. Since it's Memorial Day weekend that basically means it’s the unofficial start of summer, that makes sense right? Can’t you smell the bonfires already? This is the perfect time to throw those parties, enjoy the barbecues and join in on some lawn sports! Wait, did you remember to break out pillows and decorations to show off American pride? We can’t forget to kick it off with summer fireworks!

Did you know that Memorial Day was known as Decoration Day, as in decorating graves with flags and flowers? On a serious note, let’s not forget that Memorial Day is about remembering and honoring those who have died while serving the military. Some may spend the day at memorials or visiting cemeteries or participating in parades.

Just something to keep in mind on Memorial Day, there is a moment of silence or known as remembrance at 3 PM every year.
